AL Stretchers began with two artists and an Australian designer working together to solve issues artists face every day. After an 18-month design process, the result was an aluminium stretcher system developed around the needs of creative professionals.
Locally designed and developed in Australia, our stretchers are carefully crafted in Sydney with an uncompromising approach to quality. Durable Australian aluminium brings strength and corrosion resistance to the canvas frame.
From the profiles to the corners, braces and backing strip, each element is designed to work together. The POWER OF 6 system makes assembly intuitive, while mechanical keying allows fine-tuned adjustment of canvas tension.
